This course covers a wide range of topics, including entrepreneurial and small business concepts, marketing and sales, production and distribution, and business financials.

Learn the fundamentals of accounting and bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online. Students will gain hands-on experience managing accounts, recording transactions, creating invoices, working with vendors, reconciling bank accounts, and generating basic financial reports.

The course also prepares students for the Intuit QuickBooks Online Certified User (QBOCU) certification, an industry-recognized credential that can help open doors to careers in accounting, bookkeeping, and office administration.

Focuses on developing a strong understanding of spreadsheets, Microsoft Excel (Microsoft 365 Apps) and its advanced features to creating, managing, and distributing professional spreadsheets and workbooks for a variety of specialized purposes and situations. The course emphasizes technical and problem-solving skills for working professionals in realistic office and administrative situations.

Students are exposed to administrative career paths and roles and are prepared to pass HRCI’s Associate Professional in Human Resources® (aPHR®).
