Do I need to purchase any textbooks or materials?Students do not need to purchase any textbooks or materials. A textbook will be assigned to each student. Students should bring paper, pen, and pencil. Attending classes solely from a cell phone device is detrimental to the student's success. Cell phone connection by Zoom is not recommended for any students.

If I fail the Microsoft assessment, when may I take it again?Students may take a Microsoft assessment, up to two (2) times.

What if I work in the day, may I enroll in evening classes?Students may enroll in the available evening classes. See the class schedule for course, dates, days and times.

How do I interpret my assessment score report?Your learning facilitator and/or intervention will review your assessment scores with you. Learning facilitator reviews the Microsoft Office assessment. Interventionist reviews the T.A.B.E and Digital Literacy assessment scores.

What should I do to independently prepare Micrsoft 365 Office subject certification test?There are hours of material that can be done out of class to enhance a student's understanding of the material. Students should spend two (2) to two point five (2.5) hours per night studying the course material.

How much time will it take for me to complete the program?It takes an average of three (3) to four (4) months to prepare for the exam. Although this varies by student, students will want to ensure to invest adequate time in the course material.

What if I need additional academic support prior to entering into the Administrative Professional Pathway?There is a Computer Essentials class for students who need additional support to be successful in the Administrative Professional Pathway.

If I do not understand the material, who should I contact for assistance?Students should seek instructional support from the Learning Facilitator and academic support from the Interventionist and Student Success Specialist. Student peer groups may also form for additional support among students for course success.

How will I know if I am making progress in the pathway?There are several objectives and goals that must be met at regular intervals. This allows students to know whether or not, the course material is being absorbed and comprehended. May a student effectively respond to questions about the course material? Students should plan to complete all assignments, and to participate in all course activities.

How much time will it take me to complete the program?It takes an average of three (3) to four (4) months to prepare for the HVAC 608 and 609 examination. Although this varies by student, students will want to ensure to invest adequate time into the course material.

What if I need additional academic support prior to entering the Construction Pathway?There are web based programs used in the program to provide additional support. In addition, students will be assigned an Interventionist and may work with the assigned Student Success Specialist.

How much time will it take me to complete the program?It takes an average of three (3) to six (6) months to prepare for the exam. Although this varies by student, you will want to ensure that you are investing adequate time into the course materials.

What if I need additional academic support prior to entering the GED Pathway?There is a Bridge to the GED Program for students who need additional support in order to be successful in the GED Ready Program.

If I do not understand the material, who should I contact for assistance?You should seek instructional support from your learning facilitator and academic support from your interventionist, and student support specialist. Students may initiate peer support groups for study groups to work together towards course goals.

How will I know if I am making progress in the pathway?There will be ongoing assessments to determine student progress. In addition, there will be communication with the student's interventionist and student support specialist.

How will I know when I am ready to test?With ongoing support from the learning facilitator and interventionist, and through readiness by students, the decision to test will be a collective decision.

What should I do to independently prepare for the GED test?Students should engage in two (2) to two point five (2.5) hours per night of homework. Students should also work in Aztec during available free time.

Do I need to purchase any textbooks?Students do not need to purchase any textbooks. Textbooks will be provided by CCPrep.

If I fail the GED test, when can I take it again?If a student fails any GED Ready assessment, He or she will have to wait thirty (30) days to retake the test. During the wait period, students should work on skills identified in the student's specified prescription.

What if I work during the day, may I enroll in evening classes?Yes, evening classes are available.
